Best of 2011

One of the great things about photography, for me, has always been the anticipation of seeing the results of your efforts. Years ago (before digital cameras), the anticipation of going to the photo store to pick up pictures was like Christmas morning. How did they turn out? Did I get that shot? Did I have my camera set properly? I would barely be out of the store before tearing at the top of the envelope. What did I have? Then, the first look...sometimes good, sometimes not so good;-) But, the GOOD images, the ones that made me say "WOW"...THAT is what inspired me and kept me going.

These are the images from the past three months that made me say "WOW", whether it's the color, the composition, the "moment", or just a personal preference. Can't wait for the "WOW" moments in 2012!
